Unavoidable time delays in the feedback path of a controlled mechanical system may render the sys- tem unstable, and block the development and the application of dynamic control. This paper summarizes the recent work of the authors on the dynamics of controlled mechanical system with time delays. It starts with the dimensional reduction of delayed nonlinear systems composed of stiff and soft substructures and then presents the experimental modeling of lin¬ear and nonlinear mechanical systems with the time delays in state feedback taken into account. In the frame of linear controlled systems, this paper outlines the analysis of delay-independent stability and stability switches with the increase of time delay, the stability analysis in the case of short time delay, and the robust stability analysis of the system pos¬sessing uncertain parameters. Afterwards, the paper briefly discusses the primary resonance and subharmonic resonance, as well as the corresponding stability analysis, of a kind of harmonically forced Duffing oscillators with time delay, and the stabilization of periodic motion of nonlinear delayed systems. Finally, the applications of the stability analysis ap¬proaches to structure controls and active chassis of ground vehicles are outlined.  相似文献

Global asymptotic stability (GAS) is discussed for cellular neural networks (CNN) with multiple time delays. Several criteria are proposed to ascertain the uniqueness and global asymptotic stability of the equilibrium point for the CNN with delays. These criteria can eliminate the difference between the neuronal excitatory and inhibitory effects. Two examples are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the criteria.  相似文献

The robust exponential stabilization problem for uncertain systems isstudied. Based on the solution for a nominal linear quadratic regulator problem with a prescribed degree of stability, the methods of constructing state feedback controllers are developed to ensure the robust stability of the closed loop system under the conditions weaker than the matching condition. Also, the cases where the matching condition is satisfied are considered in detail. Some examples are included to show the solution methods.  相似文献

The robust H∞ control problem was considered for a class of fuzzy hyperbolic model (FHM) systems with parametric uncertainties and multiple delays. First, FHM modeling method was presented for time-delay nonlinear systems. Then, by using Lyapunov-Krasovskii approaches, delay-dependent sufficient condition for the existence of a kind of state feedback controller was proposed, which was expressed as linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The controller can guarantee that the resulting closed-loop system is robustly asymptotically stable with a prescribed H∞ performance level for all admissible uncertainties and time-delay. Finally, a simulation example was provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.  相似文献

This paper deals with the problem of robust H∞ control for uncertain systems with multiple state delays. The parameter uncertainties are unknown but norm - bounded. An LMI based method is developed for robust H∞ stabilization for a class of uncertain systems with multiple state delays via linear memoryless state feedback control. The resuits depend on the size of the delays and are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities, so they are less con. servative than those of delay - independent.  相似文献

This paper investigates the robust H∞ problem for a class of generalized forced Hamiltonian systems with uncertainties. The robust L2-gain was proved for the Hamiltonian with a sufficient condition for stable control of multimachine power systems expressed as a matrix algebraic inequality. A similar sufficient condition was then extended to the robust H∞ control of Hamiltonian systems to construct the state feedback H∞ control law. A numerical example is given to verify the validity of the proposed control scheme, which shows the effectiveness and promising application of the method.  相似文献
