| Abstract: | The Chinese - English translation of TV news has non - correspondence. This paper, with the semiotic semantic theory put forward by Morris, an American behavior semanticist, explains the grounds for the non - correspondence in the Chinese - English translation of TV news from the perspective of semiotics in the light of referential meaning, pragmatic meaning and internal meaning of language. |
