| Abstract: | Multimedia is one of the most active areas in computer science nowadays. The main object of this paper is to improve the monitoring control by introducing the multimedia into it. In the paper, the structures of the multimedia sound monitoring control system (MSMCS) are given. Wavelet algorithm is added to MSMCS besides the fast fourier transform (FFT) algorithm for its multiresolution characteristic. The goal of the MSMC is to give a synchro-sound alarm signal as soon as the sound (especially cyclic sound) changes. |
