| Abstract: | The present paper reports the karyotype of Trochosa spinipalpis. The result shows the chromosomal number is as follows:26 chromosomes in the male somatic cell and 28 chromosomes in the female.The mechanism of sex-determination is of the X 1X 2O type.X-chromosom(s) are the longest one(or pair)and the shortest one (or pair).All chromosomes seem to consist of telo-centries chromosomes.This effect has been domonstrated by its c-bands specimen.The constitutive heterochromatins only have been found near the centromere. |
