浅谈英语翻译教学与文化差异

文化在人类社会扮演着一个非常重要的角色。文化是一个社会物质文明与精神文明的总和。而语言是文化的载体，语言是文化的一面镜子。语言甚至是文化的一部分，特定的文化背景产生特定的语言。换句话说语言的学习过程也就是了解一种文化的过程。英语翻译教学不能脱离文化的教学。众所周知，世界上有许多国家和民族。不同国家和民族有不同的历史、传统、习惯、生活方式等。他们的确带来了文化差异，并从语言中反映出来。本篇讨论的是文化差异在英语翻译教学中的重要性。

A Superficial Discussion On Englishi Translation Teaching And Cultural differences

Culture plays a very important role in human society.Culture is the summation of material civilization and spiritual civilization of a society.Language is the carrier and mirror of cultures.What's more,it is still one part of culture.Special culture backgroud produces special language.That is to say study a language is the course of knowing about a kind of culture.English translation teaching cannot be separated from culture teaching.As we all know,there are many countries and nations in the world.Different countries and nations have different histories,traditions,customs,life styles and so on.They surely cause cultural differenes,these are reflected in languages.this paper discusses the importance about cultural differences in English translation teaching.
