东方价值观及其现代意义

东方价值观主要指东亚儒学的价值观。目前，它不仅作为一种东亚传统的哲学、宗教的思想而存在，而且也融汇于现代的经济和生活之中，并且对东亚经济奇迹的形成起到了十分重要的推动和凝聚作用。但是，儒学价值观也像其他价值观一样有着它的优点和弱点，我们不能因亚洲金融危机就怀疑甚至否定东亚价值观，必须作辩证的考察，采取科学的、历史的和批判的评价，既不全面肯定，也不全面否定。只有这样，亚洲国家才能找到一条适合自己的经济发展道路。

The Oriental Value and Its Modern Significane

The Oriental value mainly refers to the Confucian value of East Asia.It is a traditional ideology of philosophy and religion,deeply rooted in the eastern cultrue and merged in the modern economy and life.We should not doubt or even negate the Oriental value only becasue of the Asian financial crisis.Whereas we must take a scientific,historical and critical point of view in appraising the Oriental value,not totally affirming,not totally negating it.Only in this dialectical inspectation can we find a suitable way for Asian countries to develop their economy.
