英语专业开展小说文本阅读的实践和评估

摘    要:小说文本阅读是英语专业学生提高语言能力和文化素养的重要途径,也是传统阅读教学的必要延伸和补充。以认知发展、发现学习、知识建构等学说为理论基础;以学生为主体,倡导自主学习为基本理念来探讨小说文本阅读的作用和效果。实践和评估结果表明,阚读有利于培养学生自主学习的习惯,能提升综合语言文化素养。课外阅读要取得更大成效,必须更新教学理念,加大指导力度和实行人性化监控。

Abstract:Novel reading is an important means of improving English major students' and cultural quality, as well as a necessary extension and complementation of traditional linguistic competence reading instruction. This paper is based upon cognitive development theory, discovery learning theory and constructionist theory, and probes into the functions and effects of novel reading. Results show that novel reading facilitates autonomous learning and improves both linguistic and cultural qualities. However, if we desire more success, we have to change our teaching concepts and carry out more effective instruction and sunpervision.
