| 摘 要： | 影响外语学习最主要的因素有两个：一是情感，一是母语。情感因素对英语教学具有重大的影响。目前我国大学英语教学存在严重的知情分离现象，片面强调语言学习中的认知因素，忽视情感因素对语言教学的作用。作为普通高校以新机制、新模式举办的独立学院也不例外。本文通过情感因素在英语教学中的作用以及当前独立学院英语教学中存在的问题，提出了改进英语教学的建议。

| Abstract: | Affective factors play an important role in English teaching and learning. The paper introduces the basic elements of affective factors theory and its functions. Based on affective factors theory, the paper makes an analysis of the current situation of College English teaching in independent colleges, and then gives some suggestions. |
