摘    要:本文研制了一种光纤表面粗糙度在线测量系统,通过涡流测微仪和步进马达控制系统,可以补偿由于工件尺寸变化、机床导轨几何误差和主轴部件的振动造成的光纤探头和被测工件表面之间的距离变化,使光纤测量仪的输出只反映已加工表面粗糙度的变化。该测量系统能识别出金刚石刀具切削铝合金时,影响加工表面粗糙度的主要因素是积屑瘤和振动。同时还可以用在线监测加工表面粗糙度的方法来监测刀具的磨损。

Abstract:This paper presents a new in-process measurement system for surface roughness with optics-fibre. In this system, the changes of distance between the fibre probe -and the workpiece surface due to the change of workpiece diameter, the geometric error of the guideway and the vibration of the spindle parts can be compensated. Tests under different cutting conditions show that the factors that affect the machined surface roughness in cutting aluminum alloy with natural diamond cutting tools are mainly the built-up edge and the vibration of cutting system. It is also shown that the variation of machined surface roughness due to tool wear can be identified and three different stages of tool wear can be monitored by detecting the change of machined surface roughness when cutting steel No.45 with high speed steel tools.
