| 摘 要： | 由于中西方在历史背景、社会风俗、经济体系、意识形态等方面的巨大差异,引起了在翻译中国传统文化特色词语时,在英语中无对应或相近的表达方式,出现文化空缺现象。本文针对文化差异带给翻译的种种不便,要求译者不仅精通原语和译语而且应通晓这两种语言所反应的文化,提出用灵活的方法来处理中国特色文化英译过程中出现的问题,找到恰当的翻译对策。

| Abstract: | The differences between China and the West in history, social customs, economic system, ideology and etc . bring forth "cultural vacancy", that is to say, some words and expressions conveying the features of Chinese traditional culture have no equivalents in English . This article, according to the issues caused by cultural differences , requires the translator to master the source language and the target language and those conveying cultures as well, and attempts to find some proper methods of translation which are flexible and feasible to solve the issues . |
