| Abstract: | Condensation of resorcinol or phloroglucinol with sodium hydrogen malate in the presence of catalytic sulfuric acid leads to the synthesis of natural bioactive umbelliferone and daphnetin under microwave irradiation. The method was fast and convinent. |
