On Strategies to Improve the Employment of Graduates from Vocational Colleges

Based on the situation of employment of graduates from vocational college, this paper analyzes the reasons resulting in low employment. It proposes that the government should give full play to their roles of offering organization, coordination, guidance and services, while colleges should adjust the majors according to the market demand and reinforce the education about the employment and entrepreneurship. At the same time, students should change their concept of employment and improve their overall quality, increasing their competitiveness in job market. The employer should create a good environment for vocational graduates, providing them with a broad stage of employment to ensure their full employment.
