Abstract: | This article, with the help of some pragmatic examples, explores the grammatical correctness and pragmatic appropriateness in college English teaching. It points out that ELT teachers shall pay due attention to the study of pragmatics and voluntarily take the pragmatic principles as a guideline in their teaching activities. |
