| 摘 要： | 许宝騄是中国最早在概率论与数理统计研究方面达到世界先进水平的杰出数学家。他奠定了中国概率论与数理统计学科的基础，并为之付出了毕生精力。其研究成果已成为当代概率论与数理统计理论的重要组成部分，至今“许方法”仍被认为是解决检验问题的最实用方法。

| Abstract: | As a pioneer of Chinese probability theory and mathematical statistics, Pao-Lu Hsu was a statistician who was the most creative in the 20th century. The fruits of his research propelled the development of the modem probability theory and mathematical statistics maximaly. His contributions for a few decades exerted exceptional influence on the theory of probability and mathematical statistics in China and the world. Up to now, his thoughts still have far-reaching influence on modem mathematical creativity. |
