An Analysis Practical Techniques of Free Attack in China's Present Competitive Martial Arts

Through the statistics of the attack and defense techniques in the 187 rounds by the 48 fighters in 2003 National Martial Arts Free Fight Championship Tournament,the paper further studies how these techniques are employed,and makes clear the characteristics of the attack techniques under the new competition system.The result of the study indicates that the present free fight is featured with the attack techniques,and the attacks are more used than the anti-attacks.The practical techniques tend to be efficient,continuous and comprehensive.
