摘    要:提出一种基于空心阴极放电等离子体的宽带微带开关,其基本原理是以放电等离子体代替微带线射频微机电系统(RF MEMS)开关的金属悬臂来实现开关功能.利用低气压下空心阴极放电产生微带等离子体,并研究了这种开关的传输特性.结果表明,放电系统工作时,等离子体开关对1~9GHz电磁波的传输效率为10%~30%;不产生等离子体时,开关间隙将隔离电磁波;开关对脉冲电压的响应时间约为1μs.利用空心阴极结构和脉冲电压驱动可以实现宽带微带开关.

Abstract:A broad-band plasma microstrip switch has been developed based on hollow cathode discharge.The basic principle of the plasma switch is replacing the metal element in RF MEMS by controllable plasma to perform the switch function in microstrip structure.A hollow cathode discharge under low pressure was employed to produce the plasma and the transmission characteristic of electromagnetic wave(EMW) was investigated experimentally.The results show that,when the plasma is presented,the switch is ON and the transm...
