The Cultural Differences between China and the West VS. English Learning Obstacles

Language and culture have a close relation, and the vocabulary in a language has a closer relation with culture. So it's necessary to study the culture of this language further and know the characteristics of national culture in order to master the language better. This paper illustrates the English learning obstacles beginning with the cultural differences between China and the west. The purpose is to improve people's cognition about English language first so as to improve English teaching qualities in our country.
