| Abstract: | Intelligence CAD System (ICADS) is the future trend of CAD system. The system's structure, knowledge representation inference mechanism, the interface of user and the knowledge base management of a cutting Tool Design Expert Sy0stem (TDES) for broach design developed by the authors are introduced in this paper. An ICADS model of cutting tool design is given to enable the tool CAD system to be more intellectual, flexible, and extendible, etc. |
