| 摘 要： | 通过对北京地区栽培的番红花生殖器官的观察,发现它的雌配子体发育正常,花粉能在柱头上萌发,只因花粉管不能伸入到花柱和子房而不能受精。

| Abstract: | On the basis of the investigation of sexual reproductive organs, a preliminary study of sterility of saffron is conducted. The investigation shows that female gamelophyte of saffron develops normally, and pollen can germinate on the stigma. But it cannot be fertilized, as there is no pollen tube getting into the style, and no ovule can be found. |
