“普世价值”与跨文化交际学习

从语言文化角度来说，“普世价值”很可能是不存在的。从唯物辩证法角度来讲，世界上不存在所谓的“普世价值”。“民主”、“平等”、“自由”和“人权”等是美国主流价值观的内容。现在有不少中国人认同这些价值观，并把它们说成是苷世价值。但是调查显示青年学生们并不欢迎它们。在英语和跨文化交际教学中，价值观的探讨是必要的。

"Universal Values" and Learning of Intercultural Communication

From the lingual-cultural perspective,it is quite unlikely that universal values exist in the present world and in terms of the materialistic dialectic,people can come to a conclusion that the so-called "universal values" don't exist either.There are many Chinese who approve of "democracy","equality","freedom" and "human rights" etc.,which are among the dominant American values.and also thought of as universal values.The survey aiming at finding out students' values,however,shows that these values are not so widely accepted by young Chinese college students as supposed.It is necessary to discuss values in the classrooms of English and intercultural communication in China.
