| 摘 要： | 作为一部描写校园生活的学者小说,《小世界》被誉为西方的《围城》。它通过文本的指涉和人物形象的塑造及夸张讽刺的笔法打造出一个学术界的＂荒原＂,再现了当今西方学术界的不良风气,充分展示了在学术名利场中劳心者们的虚伪和世俗。

| Abstract: | As a scholar novel which describes campus life,Small World is called western Fortress Besieged.Through the involvement of the texts,the portrayal of the figures and the method of exaggerations and satire,it creates a ＂wasteland＂ in academia,reappears the evils of society in the current western academia,and fully reveals the hypocritical common customs of the headworkers in the academic vanity fair. |
