| Abstract: | As a branch of English for Special Purpose(ESP),Marine Engineering English(MEE) is a vocational language used by engineers on ocean-going vessels and relevant staff members on the shore. Because of its high professional level, MEE has its own unique professional features. This article analyzes the professional features of MEE in the aspects of vocabulary, syntax and writing, and in the same time introduces the teaching strategies for the features of MEE. |
