表面波等离子体天线物理特性的理论分析

摘    要:根据表面波驱动等离子体的方法,建立一种表面波等离子体天线实验系统装置.在该实验系统中,根据等离子体天线的典型实验参数条件,从理论上对该表面波等离子体天线的特性进行了分析,包括:等离子体的电子温度、等离子体密度及其沿等离子体柱的分布情况、等离子体噪声及其对天线噪声的影响,以及等离子体天线的实际长度和导电率与表面波驱动的射频功率的关系.分析结果表明,等离子体圆柱的长度因射频功率的方根增加而增长,而沿圆柱的导电率呈线性关系.

Abstract:Based on the method of plasma droven by the electromagnetic surface wave, an experiment installation was set up. Then theoretical study was carried out in such experiment system. The analysis included varied physical characteristics, such as electron temperature, plasma density and its distribution along the column, plasma noise and its effect on the total antenna noise, antenna length and its electrical conductivity with relation to the power of RF. The results show that the length of the plasma column increases as the square root of the applied power and that the plasma density decreases linearly from the wave launcher to the end of the plasma column.
