| Abstract: | A porphyrin cobalt complex tetra ( p octanoyloxyphenyl) porphyrin cobalt TOPPCo was synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, UV visible spectra, infrared photoacoustic spectra, 1H NMR and molar conductances. The electrochemical behaviour of TOPPCo was investigated by cyclic voltammetry in dimethylsulfoxide(DMSO). We defined the half wave potential of the three step redox reaction and the material pattern in each step of the electrode reaction of TOPPCo. |
