| Abstract: | On the basis of not enough importance being attached to the translating teaching method for a long time, by analyzing the actual situation of College English teaching and the teaching requirements and the syllabus of College English teaching, the author points out the importance and necessity of strengthening the translating teaching in college English teaching, and discusses the strategies of translating teaching. The author also believes that translating teaching is an effective means of improving the exertion of linguistic knowledge, a helpful and necessary implement of communicating teaching method and other methods. |
