论我国城市化进程中的户籍制度改革

我国现行的户籍制度是一种限制财富、知识、权利在不同人群之间流动的藩篱，它的存在必然影响经济自由，而我国城市化运动的实质就是经济自由。所以现行的户籍制度如不加以改革，势必影响我国的城市化进程。改革应遵循循序渐进的原则，既要有长期目标，又要有短期选择，以建立适应社会主义市场经济要求的新的户籍制度。

On the Reform of Household Register System in Chinese Urbanization

The current household register system in China is a sort of hedge in which the circulation of wealth, knowledge, and power among different people are limited. So its existence will inevitably affect the free economy, the essence of the urbanization, and hence, set back the process of the urbanization. Therefore, on the one hand, it is imperative for us to carry out reform of household register system in China, on the other hand, we must proceed the reform in a systematic and progressive way so as to establish a new system that is geared to the new demands of socialist market economy.
