The Relationship between the Mechanical Properties of Pure Silk Fabrics and Dress Performance

In this paper, the relationship between mechanical properties of 30 pieces of pure silk fabrics and the dress performance has been analyzed. With the methods of multifactor linear step regression and discrimination analysis, the judgment and prediction model of the performance have been established.

在Kawabata等人的研究基础上,对30多种真丝织物的力学性能和八片公主线连衣裙外观造型之间的关系进行了研究,运用了多元线性逐步回归和判别分析方法,找出了影响服装外观成形的几个机械力学因子:厚度、面密度、剪切刚性、弯曲刚性、最大剪切力和纬向的拉伸伸长率等.     

Three-dimensional Simulation and Pattern Making of Collar Using Geometric Model

An algorithm is presented for computationally simulating collars and drafting patterns. The collar shape was modeled by three-dimensional Bezier patch. Changing the position of control points of the patch can interactively control the collar shape. Using triangular surface developing method, patterns of various styles of stand collar and separating collar were drafted. As the subsystem of 3D apparel design system, an interactive collar design system is constructed. To inspect the practical usage, we reproduced the collars using these patterns drafted by the interactive collar design system. Comparing with simulated collars, the system demonstrated well and we found it is more reliable and accurate than the method of handwork.

In textile and apparel field,the CAD technology has been developed rapidly.The CAD system with the func-tions of pattern making,marking and grading has be-come substantial equipment for an apparel factory,But this apparel CAD system is only one graphic system con-centrating on the two-dimensional paper patterns,the three-dimensional apparel CAD system or virtual reali-ty apparel CAD is still not put into practical use.But it is one of the most interesting studying fields for textile
