球面上等距线的构造

提出了球面上等距线的构造方法.首先,用有理二次Bézier曲线生成球面上的圆弧[1],实现不同圆弧间的拼接,使其达到C1连续,来构造球面上的组合曲线,然后对该组合曲线利用测地线技术求其在球面上的等距线,并通过点与点求交方法来检测所生成等距线的自相交现象,同时去除自交情况.仿真结果表明,该方法能生成球面上的等距线,并基于以下原理:球面上圆弧的球面等距线仍然为圆弧,而圆弧本身不会自相交,从而能快速消除球面上等距线自相交现象.

Forecasting recessions using the yield curve

We compare forecasts of recessions using four different specifications of the probit model: a time invariant conditionally independent version; a business cycle specific conditionally independent model; a time invariant probit with autocorrelated errors; and a business cycle specific probit with autocorrelated errors. The more sophisticated versions of the model take into account some of the potential underlying causes of the documented predictive instability of the yield curve. We find strong evidence in favour of the more sophisticated specification, which allows for multiple breakpoints across business cycles and autocorrelation. 探讨了两个在教科书中作为例题的数学建模问题，一个是关于渔业生产的，另一个关于体育训练，对于前者，提出一个更为合理的解法；对于后者，则提出其中数学推导上的错漏并得出新的结论。     

剃齿时齿形中凹现象的形成机理

本文综合啮合原理、微分几何和弹性力学的基础理论,对剃齿过程中刀具齿面和被剃齿轮齿面间的失配进行了分析。最后利用径向力求出了齿面间的压切量,从而解释并验证了剃齿过程中产生的齿形中凹现象。这对提高剃齿精度、降低噪音有着重要意义。
