THE ADHESIVE CAPACITY OF STARCH GRAFT COPOLYMERS TO POLYESTER/COTTON FIBER

The advantages of using starch graft copolymers as warp sizes in textile were briefly discussed, and the factors of affecting adhesive capacity to the fiber were analysed. By using eerie ammonium nitrate as an initiator under nitrogen atomosphere, a number of vinyl and/or acrylic monomers such as acrylic acid, acrylamide, methyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate, butyl acrylate, hydroxyethyl acrylate, methyl methacrylate, butyl methacrylate, vinyl acetate and the combinations among them were graft copolymerized respectively onto granular corn starch in aqueous dispersion. The adhesive capacity of these starch graft copolymers to polyester/cotton fibers was evaluated by a slightly sized rovings according to V. K. Aggarwal's method which measures the breaking strength and elongation of the rovings impregnated with the size paste. Multiscale coupling:challenges and opportunities

Multiscale coupling is ubiquitous in nature and attracts broad interests of scientists from mathematicians, physicists, machinists, chemists to biologists. However, much less attention has been paid to its intrinsic implication. In this paper, multiscale coupling is introduced by studying two typical examples in classic mechanics: fluid turbulence and solid failure. The nature of multiscale coupling in the two examples lies in their physical diversities and strong coupling over wide-range scales. The theories of dynamical system and statistical mechanics provide fundamental methods for the multiscale coupling problems. The diverse multiscale couplings call for unified approaches and might expedite new concepts, theories and disciplines.     

施氮处理对稻米淀粉积累的影响

采用盆栽试验研究了不同施氮处理对梗稻“农垦57”和籼稻“IR36”两个水稻品种颖果淀粉积累的影响。结果如下：(1)灌浆期颖果中可溶性糖含量随着籽粒灌浆天数的增加而逐渐降低，籼稻变化明显快于梗稻。增加穗肥施氮量可降低灌浆初期颖果中可溶性糖含量、(2)颖果中淀粉和直链淀粉含量随籽粒灌浆天数的增加而逐渐上升，增加穗肥施氮量能显著降低颖果中直链淀粉含量、(3)颖果中支链淀粉在花后0-10d内增加较快，以后则保持较高比率缓慢地增长，施氮对支链淀粉含量没有显著的影响。     

阳离子淀粉CST制备及脱色性能研究

一种新型淀粉助剂(TH9601)的研究及应用

改性淀粉被广泛应用于造纸表面施胶，对未改性的普通淀粉直接现场改性施胶的过程，进行了研究、探讨和应用，取得了较好的效果，大大提高了纸的表面强度，纸的抗张强度和白度也得到了相应的提高.遇时，由于现场制备，省去了改性淀粉厂的制备过程，降低了成本，提高企业的效益。     

巯基交联淀粉的制备及其对汞等重金属离子絮凝性能的研究

交联玉米淀粉与巯基乙酸在酸催化下,以THF为反应介质,在适当的配料比和反应条件下,可以制得巯基含量为0.5～0.8mmol/g的巯基交联淀粉。对一些重金属,它是一种有效的絮凝剂,可用于含汞、铅和镉等废水的处理。     

用异淀粉酶改进淀粉膜的研究

用异淀粉酶可使淀粉中的支淀粉脱支而形成链淀粉,从而提高淀粉膜的成膜性能及强度。本文用正交试验法研究异淀粉酶对马铃薯淀粉脱支的作用条件,并描绘了异淀粉酶的作用时间与膜的抗张强度、伸长百分率、耐折度、透湿性、链淀粉含量的关系曲线,为制取性能好的食用淀粉膜提供依据。     

影响辛烯基琥珀酸淀粉酯乳化效果的因素

采用黏度和取代度为指标的测定方法,探讨了影响辛烯基琥珀酸淀粉酯乳化效果的因素.研究结果表明:黏度、取代度、乳化液颗粒大小及其分布状态是影响辛烯基琥珀酸淀粉酯乳化效果的主要因素;乳化液颗粒越小分布越均匀乳化效果越好,反之则越差.我们发现,要获得辛烯基琥珀酸淀粉酯(纯胶)较好乳化效果的条件的优化组合是:1)乳化液颗粒小而均匀;2)黏度为4～4.5mPa.s;3)取代度在0.02以下.该结果为企业提高辛烯基琥珀酸淀粉酯乳化效果,实现企业低投入、高产出、高效益的目标提供了科学依据.
