最近,美国、瑞典等国的医学科研人员利用核磁共振造影(MRI)技术,通过对年龄为19~76岁的人的脑部发育情况所进行的测量,发现接受实验者的脑部发育状态平均可以持续到大约50岁,即使到了60、70岁以后,成年人的大脑仍然还会长出新的脑神经元(也就是脑细胞)。他们在受测者脑部的一个小小区域──海马状突起处,发现了新生的神经元。这些新的神经元能够使大脑恢复其已经部分消退的功能。海马状突起处于大脑深层,对人的学习和记忆十分重要。这一发现否定了以前医学经典认为“人脑的发育到了20岁就己定型,此后大脑就开始…  相似文献

In 1959, the concept of brain death (BD) or irreversible coma was described by Mollaret and Goulon (1959). The first guideline (the Harvard criteria) for deciding BD was established in 1968 (Ad Hoc Committee of the Harvard Medical School, 1968). This concept has been accepted worldwide although its fundamental meaning is not exactly globally uniform yet. Some countries (e.g., the US) view BD as "whole brain death", while others (e.g., the UK) as brain-stem death. The guidelines for the diagnosis of BD also differ among countries, even among hospitals in the same country.  相似文献

 超声治疗具有非侵入性、空间分辨率高、刺激靶点多等特点,其磁共振兼容效果良好,不良反应较少,逐渐应用于脑部疾病的治疗。综述了超声应用于治疗神经系统疾病的2种主要类型:高强度聚焦超声治疗和低强度聚焦超声刺激治疗。目前,高强度聚焦超声在治疗脑肿瘤、神经性疼痛、震颤、帕金森、强迫症和脑中风等疾病领域具有广泛的临床应用;低强度聚焦超声刺激在治疗抑郁症和癫痫等疾病方面具有临床应用。经颅精准聚焦的聚焦超声可非侵入性治疗神经系统疾病,有望成为治疗脑部疾病新的临床手段。  相似文献

The brain deformation is a vital factor affecting the precision of the IGS and it becomes a hotspot to simulate and correct the brain deformation recently.The research organizations, which firstly resolved the brain deformation with the physical models, have the Image Processing and Analysis department of Yale University, Biomedical Modeling Lab of Vanderbilt University and so on. 目的:探讨获得性免疫缺陷综合症(AIDS)颅内病变的MRI表现,总结其影像学特点.方法:回顾性分析经我院公共卫生救治中心确诊的32例神经系统型MDS患者脑部MRI表现.结果:6例HIV脑炎表现为半卵圆中心脑白质区对称性多发点片状长T1长T2信号影,4例有脑萎缩;9例弓形体脑炎表现为基底节区和额顶叶、小脑半球多发或单发片状长T1长T2信号,增强T1WI呈多发环状、结节状及不规则靶形强化;8例隐球菌性脑炎中6例表现脑灰质内多发小片状长T1长T2信号影,2例表现为类圆形稍长T1长T2信号影,DWI结节中心可见片状高信号;5例结核性脑膜炎增强T2WIFlair示鞍上池及环池、脑干周围脑膜明显线状强化;4例脑淋巴瘤为大块状及不规则性长T1长T2信号影,占位效应明显,增强T1WI呈明显强化.结论:AIDS相关性颅内病变由于病因及病理的多样性,其MRI表现多样,在诊断时要密切结合临床.  相似文献

Objective: Optimization of combining electroencephalography (EEG), short latency somatosensory evoked potentials (SLSEP) and transcranial Doppler (TCD) techniques to diagnose brain death. Methods: One hundred and eleven patients (69 males, 42 females) from the major hospitals of Zhejiang Province were examined with portable EEG, SLSEP and TCD devices. Re-examinations occurred 〈12 h later. Results: The first examination revealed that the combination of SLSEP and EEG led to more sensitive diagnoses than the combination of SLSEP and TCD. Re-examination confirmed this and also revealed that the combination of TCD and EEG was the most sensitive. Conclusion: The results show that using multiple techniques to diagnose brain death is superior to using single method, and that the combination of SLSEP and EEG is better than other combinations.  相似文献
