We give a new characterization ofq-uniform PL-convexity of complex Banach space by using the existence of a kind of functions with two variables and then prove a sharp weak (1, 1)-type inequality for analytic martingales with values in the Banach space. Vector-valued dirichlet-type functions on the unit ball of C n

The vector-valued Dirichlet-type spaces on the unit ball of C ⁿ is introduced. We discuss the pointwise multipliers of Dirichlet-type spaces. Sufficient conditions of the pointwise multipliers of are given. Finally, Rademacherp-type space is characterized by vector-valued sequence spaces. Some clifford martingale spaces

We study the spaces Hp, Sp, Kp, ∑p and ,p of martingales with measure du=ψdυ,where ψ is a function with Clifford algebra values and satisfies bp+-condition. We proved they are equivalent and isomorphic to the corresponding spaces of martingales with real measure dυ, respectively(1≤p＜∞). In the end,we give a martingale f such that f=(fn) ∞∈1K∞ but f=(E(ψ| n)fn)n≥ ∈1K∞.     

Two-parameter vector-valued martingales and geometrical properties of Banach spaces

We obtained a number of inequalities and laws of large numbers for two-parameter vector-valued martingales. For weighted sums of the form where {a _nj , 1 ⩽j⩽k _n ↑∞,n⩾1} is a real constant array and {X _aj , 1≤j≤k _{n, n}≥1} is a rowwise independent, zero mean, random element array in a real separable Banach space of typep, we establishL ^r convergence theorem and a general weak law of large numbers respectively, conversely, we characterize Banach spaces of typep in terms of convergence inr-th mean and probability for such weighted sums. On the Symmetry Classes of Functions

Let R be an integral domain of characteristic zero such that the corresponding group rings have block decompositions. We first prove that the submodule consisting of all the R-valued ξi-symmetric functions of several variables is a symmetry class, where ξi is any block character. Then we present a relationship among certain operators introduced for block character. Then we present a relationship among certain operators introduced for block characters. As a consequence, we obtain a decomposition of an arbitrary R-valued function of several variables. Finally, we describe the symmetry property of such summands and determine all the symmetry classes.

Structure Refinement of the Icosahedral AIPdMn Quasicrystal Using Quantitative CBED

The atomic structure of the pcrfect AIPdMn icosahedral phase has been studied on a single crystal specimen by quantitative convergent beam electron diffraction (QCBED) technique in combination with describing the shape of atomic surface by symmetry adapted series of surface harmonics. The spherical model was used as the starting model for the refinement. By fitting the calculated electron diffraction intensities to the experimental line scan profile, the coefficients in the surface harmonics expansion of the boundaries of atomic surface are refined. The refined parameters show that the fluctuations of the external boundary of atomic surface for Pd at n0 can be as large as 0.2 nm. The boundaries of atomic surfaces for Mn show little fluctuation. In the present model. the number of unphysically short interatomic distances is significantly reduced in comparison with the spherical model.
