An Improved Genetic Algorithm for Problem of Genome Rearrangement

In view of the fact that the problem of sorting unsigned permutation by reversal is NP-hard, while the problem of sorting signed permutation by reversal can be solved easily, in this paper, we first transform an unsigned permutation of length n,π （π1 ,… ,πn）, into a set S（π） containing 2^n signed permutations, so that the reversal distance of π is equal to the reversal distance of the optimal signed permutation in S（π）. Then analyze the structural features of S（π） by creating a directed graph and induce a new computing model of this question. Finally, an improved genetic algorithm for solving the new model is proposed. Experimental results show that the proposed model and algorithm is very efficient in practice.     

Hausdorff Measure of Linear Cantor Set

Existence of single-peaked solution of a semilinear elliptic problem

We discussed the Dirichlet problem of semilinear elliptic equationin (Pβ,α)D;-β△u=uε+εu,u>0,in Ω u=0, on(e),Ω where Ω(∪)RN(N≥4) is smooth and bounded domain,P=N+2/N-2,β,ε>0. We have proved that there exist positive ε0 and ε1 , such that when 0≤ε≤ε0,β>√ε1,(P0,1)has a single-peaked solution uβ, furthermore, |▽μβ|-0in the sense of measure as ε→0 and β→0.     

The fractal structures of the sample path of a general subordinator and the random re-orderings of the Cantor set

Some fractal properties of a class of self-similar Markov processes

Formation of the inclusion complex of Orange II with β-Cyclodextrin and its photostability

Inclusion complex of Orange II with β-Cyclodextrin (β-CD) and the anti-photolysis effect under UV-light were investigated. The molar ratio of inclusion complex of β-Cyclodextrin and Orange II is 1∶1. The formation constantK = 1.236×10³ L/mol was determined by the UV and Fluorescence spectra respectively, which was quite in accordance with the calculation with a modified Benesi-Hildbrand equation. The inclusion complex was characterized by the IR spectra and the molar ratio of inclusion complex is 1∶1 too. The formation constantK = 1.266×10³ L/mol was determined by¹H NMR analysis and was nearly the same by UV and fluorescence spectra. The photocatalytic decolorization rate of Orange II solutions containing β-CD and TiO₂ was smaller by 51.9% than that of the Orange II solutions only containing TiO₂, while in the case of direct photolysis of Orange II solutions, β-CD can lower the photolysis rate by 48.1% under UV-light. This result indicates β-CD can inhibit the photolysis and photocatalytic decolorization of Orange II under UV-light. The β-CD inclusion complex was found to be persistent to UV-light photolysis. Genetic algorithm for Chinese postman problems

Chinese Postman Problem is an unsettled graphic problem. It was approached seldom by evolutionary computation. Now we use genetic algorithm to solve Chinese Postman Problem in undirected graph and get good results. It could be extended to solve Chinese postman problem in directed graph. We make these efforts for exploring in optimizing the mixed Chinese postman problem. Synthesis and crystal structure of new supramolecular adducts of [PtCl6]2− with cucurbit [7] uril: [(H3O)2 (PtCl6)]3 (C42H42N28O14)2·H2O

A novel supramolecular adduct [(H₃O)₂ (PtCl₆)]₃ (C₄₂H₄₂N₂₈O₁₄)₂·H₂O (1) was synthesized by mixing [PtCl₆]²⁻ and cucurbit [7] uril in solution of hydrochloric acid. The crystal structure was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Some clifford martingale spaces

We study the spaces Hp, Sp, Kp, ∑p and ,p of martingales with measure du=ψdυ,where ψ is a function with Clifford algebra values and satisfies bp+-condition. We proved they are equivalent and isomorphic to the corresponding spaces of martingales with real measure dυ, respectively(1≤p＜∞). Deviation inequality for the number of k -cycles in a random graph

We study the number of k-cycles in a random graph G(n, p). We estimate the probability that a random graph contains more k-cycles than expected. In this case, the usual martingale inequality with bounded difference is not effective. By constructing a variable that approximates to the number of k-cycles in a random graph and using a new and extensive martingale inequality, we get the results in this paper. A Linear Hyperbolic System with Stiff Source Terms

We consider the behavior of solutions to the system ut ＋vx =0, vt ＋ux =（au-v）/τ as the relaxation parameter τ approaches 0. A note on characteristic generators of a free cyclic code and its dual

Let C be a free cyclic code over Z _n ^α and dim _p C = k. In the paper, we prove that if the k characteristic generators of C are p-linearly independent then the corresponding nα − k characteristic generators of C ^⊥ are p-linearly independent. We then show that to any trellis that can be constructed from k p-linearly independent characteristic generators of C, there exists a trellis for C ^⊥ with the same state-complexity profile, which generalizes the conjecture of Koetter and Vardy to a free cyclic code over Z _n ^α. Kinetics of C2(a3Πu) radical reactions with NO, N2O, O2, H2 and NH3

Pulsed laser photolysis/laser-induced fluorescence (LP-LIF) is utilized to measure rate constants for C₂(a³Π_u) reactions with NO, N₂O, O₂, H₂ and NH₃. Multiphoton dissociation of C₂Cl₄ at 266 nm is employed for the generation of C₂(a³Π_u) radicals. The C₂(a³Π_u) concentration is monitored by the fluorescence of the (0, 0) band of the (d³Π_g&#8596;a³Π_u) transition at 516.5 nm. C₂(a³Π_u) removal rate constants for the reactions are determined as k_NO = (5.46 ± 0.10) × 10^-11 cm³ molecule^-1 s^-1 , k_N2O = (1.63 ± 0.20) × 10^-13 cm³ molecule^-1 s^-1 , k_N2O = (1.58 ± 0.16) × 10^-11 cm³ molecule^-1 s^-1, k_O2 = (5.92 ± 1.00) × 10^-14 cm³ molecule^-1 s^-1, k_H2< 1.0× 10^-14 cm³ molecule^-1 s^-1. Based on the data analysis and theoretical calculation, we suggest that the C₂(a³Π_u) reactions with H₂ and NH₃ proceed via the hydrogen abstraction mechanism, barriers exist at the entrance channel of the reactions of C₂(a³Π_u) with H₂ and NH₃.
