| 摘 要： | 20世纪中国作家中,沈从文是第一个对现代文明进程持深刻反思态度的作家。沈从文不仅看到了现代性给中国社会带来的巨大变革和进步,也看到了现代性在中国发展、城市化进程中的不可遏制的恶果;所以,沈从文在对待现代性的姿态上具有双重性,一方面呼唤现代性,一方面对现代性导致的种种不合理现象表示抵抗,对现代性表示怀疑。
