| 摘 要： | 古典功利主义因其追求最大多数的最大幸福为终极目的而饱受道义论者的批驳,并被认为是主张多数对少数的自由权利的剥夺。通过对密尔功利主义思想的探究,认为理论上功利主义能够达到与个体权利的谐调。

| Abstract: | The classical utilitarianism, with the ultimate aim of the pursuit of the utmost happiness for the majority of people, has been radically slammed by deontologists. Meanwhile, it is thought that this idea advocates the majority depriving the minority of the right of freedom. The paper probes into Mill＇s theories and draws the conclusion that utilitarianism in theory can be in harmony with individual rights. |
