| Abstract: | Language is a cultural carrier. Culture-loaded vocabulary plays an important role in a language. Different social backgrounds and national cultures have a great effect on the cultural connotations of vocabulary; same word perhaps has different meanings. In this paper, the author intends to analyze the difference between cultural meanings of animals in Chinese and English in order to provide some valuable references for correct reading. |
