| Abstract: | This paper introduces the concepts and connotations of the information literacy,points out that the educational function of the public library possesses the feature of progressing with each passing day and the information literacy education is a new subject of the educational function of the public library,and expounds the superiorities of and measures for the public library to carry out the information literacy education. |
