Discussion on a Better Service for Teaching and Research Provided by the Reference Rooms in Departments of university

This paper discusses the expected roles to be played and services to be provided by the reference rooms in different departments of a university. In addition, it analyzes the status quo and existing problems of the reference rooms. Therefore, it proposes some countermeasures that should be adopted in order to make them more efficient in aiding teaching and research.
