语法显性教学法和隐性教学法对比研究

摘    要:在分析英语语法教学现状的基础上,比较隐性教学与显性教学两种不同英语语法教学方法的效果。采用的语法项目为虚拟语气、定语从句和被动语态。实验表明:1.两种教学方法的笔试成绩总体上没有显著差别,具体到三个语法项上,显性教学法和隐性教学法的效果对比却有不同的特点;2.口试成绩上,隐性教学法明显好于显性教学法。本文还指出了这次实验的教学启示。

The Contrastive Study on the Effectiveness of Explicit and Implicit Grammar Instruction

Abstract:Based on the present situation of grammar teaching,the contrastive study compares the relative effectiveness of two types of instruction (implicit instruction and explicit instruction) on the acquisition of three grammatical items (subjunctive mood,attributive clause and passive voice).The result reveals that no overall significant differences between the written achievements of the two types of treatments are found.The respective comparing of the three grammars shows different characteristics.In the oral achievements,the implicit instruction is much better than the explicit instruction.Implications for the classroom are discussed.
