信阳境内商周古城考

位于豫南的信阳是华夏文明重要的发祥地之一。商周时期,这里分布着弦、黄、蒋、息、蓼、番等诸侯国,这些诸侯国虽然等级不高,面积不大,但是大多数农业发达,国都城池坚固,城市初具规模,这些诸侯国的出现和长期存在对淮河上游的早期开发发挥了积极作用。近年,这些信阳境内的商周诸侯国古城遗址陆续被发掘,为人们了解商周时期信阳乃至整个淮河上游地区的社会全貌打开了一扇窗。

THE ANCIENT CITY OF XINYANG IN THE SHANG AND ZHOU DYNASTIES

In the Shang and Zhou Dynasties, Xinyang distributed Xian, Huang, Jiang, Xi, Liao, Fan States, these States＇s grades are not high, areas are not large, but most of them have developed agriculture, strong castle, bigger city-scale, their long existence plays a positive role to the ear- ly development of the upper reaches of Huai River.
