英语多义词隐喻教学法的有效性研究

英语多义词的教学是英语词汇教学的难点之一，而认知隐喻学的研究表明，隐喻是多义词的各义项之间重要的认知理据之一，这为英语多义词的教学提供了崭新的途经。这一新的英语多义词的教学方法的有效性如何还有待用实验的方法来验证。本研究以非英语专业大学一年级学生为对象，对这一方法的有效性进行了历时一个学期的教学实验。统计结果显示，采用隐喻教学法的实验组的成绩显著高于采用传统的词汇教学法的控制组的成绩。这一结果表明，英语多义词隐喻教学法能够促进学生对英语多义词的习得，因而是有效的。

Empirical Research on the Validity of Metaphoric Approach to Teaching English Polysemants

The teaching of polysemants is regarded as a Research on metaphor shows that metaphor is one of the English polysemant. This finding provides a new approach great difficulty in teaching English vocabulary. most important motivations of the senses of an to teaching English polysemants. Based on the research finding, a teaching experiment has been done to test the validity of metaphoric approach to teaching English polysemants. The result shows that the performance of the experimental group is remarkably better than that of the controlled group. So the metaphoric approach is better than traditional approach.
