Morphological Interpolation Applied in Image Reconstruction

Interpolation method based on the mathematical morphology is a new research field. The present investigation proposed a method to modify and improve the interpolating technique based on geodesic distance function and the morphological median sets between two binary sets. This method could deal with binary images,gray images, color images, and multi-spectral images combine with the technique of morphological transform,which increased the method's effectiveness. The morphological interpolation algorithm used in image partition sequence was proposed, it could be successfully applied to image reconstruction for varies image.
