| 摘 要： | 前美国哲学协会中部分会主席金在权（Jaegwon Kim）从心灵哲学角度，提出功能还原模型，明确反驳了欧内斯特·内格尔（Earnest Nagel）在20世纪五六十年代提出的通过“桥接原理”实现理论间还原的导出还原模型，并力图通过消解下向因果关系而消解突现性，这在学界引起很大反响。那么，Kim的功能还原究竟是怎样的还原？较之内格尔还原，功能还原模型到底有何不同？Kim对于下向因果关系的消解能否成功？笔者将通过解读Kim的功能还原模型来试图回答这些问题。

| Abstract: | Jaegwon Kim, former president of the American Philosophical Association, the Central Division, 1988-89, has proposed functional model of reduction in mind philosophy. By doing this, Kim not only criticized the Nagelian derivational model proposed by Earnest Nagel in the 1950s, which advocated realizing reduction be- tween theories via “bridge laws”, but also tried to eliminate emergent property by eliminating downward causation. It has aroused great reverberation. What is Kim＇ s functional model of reduction？ What＇ s the difference between the model of Kim and that of Nagel？ Can he successfully eliminate downward causation？ In this paper, the author will try to answer these questions by unscrambling Kim＇ s functional model of reduction. |
