The Sixty Years of Changes and the Trend of the Contemporary Literary Thoughts of Taiwan

Taiwan contemporary literature is one part of Chinese modem literature. Influenced by specific historical environment factor etc., the literary thought has experienced from serving for politics to manifesting human existence, from self-isolation to positive opening-up, from transplantation of western literary thoughts to the fusion of these two, from one to multiplicity, etc., which takes on a dense but variable development tendency in literary work creation, and adds many new elements for Chinese modem literature. And the present mainstream of Taiwan literary creation still follows the way of focusing on Chinese people.
