| Abstract: | This paper describes static tests of four different kinds of diaphragm walls, in which settlements of wall topand soil aaround walls are measured. Group effects of "continuous" group wall and "separate" group wall are analyzed through two methods: same stress methed and same settlement method. It is hoped that a better understanding of the mechanism of group wall effect may be achieved and some designing principles of diaphragm wall foundation may be Put forward throgh the investigaion. |
