基于C-TEST的心理词汇特征研究与大学英语词汇教学

摘    要:以300位来自于东北某综合性大学非英语专业三个年级的本科生作为受试对象,运用C-TEST调查分析了我国英语学习者心理词汇的组织特征与提取策略,通过定性和定量的研究发现:(1)学生词汇量越大,其心理词汇越倾向于通过语义联结;(2)大多数被试所提取的心理词汇与正确答案高度相关;(3)被试对较难的任务给出的反应相对分散,而对简单任务反应较集中;(4)英语水平的提升有助于其心理词汇语义连接的增强,但高年级英语课程的减少也在一定程度上导致语言磨蚀现象的出现。

Abstract:In the research,300 college students from three grades of a comprehensive university in northeast China were taken as the subjects to study the organizational nature of their mental lexicon,and C-TEST is adopted as the testing form.With the quantitative and qualitative analysis,the following major findings were drawn:(1)For the students of higher English level,their mental lexicon is organized in a semantic way;(2)Even for the incorrect answers,few of the answers are conceptually irrelevant words;(3)Difficult tasks elicit divergent solutions whereas simple tasks elicit convergent solutions;(4)the upgrading of the English level is helpful for the rationality of their mental lexicon organization,while the reduction of English classes may be a cause for the emergence of the language attrition among the higher grades students.
