EDI与航运业务流程的重构

本文结合 EDI技术在航运业中的应用 ,从效率、准确性和灵活性三个方面对推广应用 EDI后所引起的航运业务流程的重构进行了系统的分析 ,从中发现 :EDI效率重构效应主要体现在通过建立一个“信息共享平台”,将相互之间有信息交流的业务环节连接起来以提高流程效率 ,但这种重构不增减业务流程的环节 ;EDI灵活性重构效应既表现为通过规范整个流程来简化整个业务流程 ,又可以借助 EDI增加信息的来源和提高信息的时效性来拓展整个业务流程结构 ;EDI在准确性方面的重构效应主要表现在对业务审核环节进行删减和合并 .上述三方面的重构效应最终可以通过业务完成时间的减少和业务完成质量的提高等指标来得以体现 .

The Influence of EDI on Reengineering of Shipping Business

This paper makes use of the application of EDI in the shipping industry to study the reengineering of shipping business. The analysis is being taken from such three aspects as efficiency, correctness and flexibility. The main conclusions are that the `efficiency' effect of EDI on the reengineering of shipping business is to set up a information-sharing platform to conglomerate all of the related business sections, but not to modify the structure of the work flow; the `flexibility' effect of EDI is the combination both to simplify the work flow by formalization and to enlarge the channels of decision making with the improvement on the quality and quantity of the information; the `correctness' effect of EDI is to reduce the time and energy spent to check the business activities;The above three types of reengineering will bring about the reduction of the service time and the improvement of the service quality.
