基于主色色差的彩色图像边缘检测方法

图像边缘是图像重要特征之一,传统的边缘检测方法大都基于灰度图像,将彩色图像转为灰度图像后进行边缘检测不能充分利用彩色图像信息,而基于非均匀空间的彩色图像边缘检测方法也会造成信息丢失。文章提出了一种基于均匀颜色空间CIE1976L*a*b*空间色差的彩色图像边缘检测方法,充分考虑了颜色矢量距离差异和颜色矢量方向差异,能够比较准确的检测到彩色图像的边缘,优于基于灰度和非均匀颜色空间的边缘检测方法。

An Approach of Color Image Edge Detection Based on Color Difference between Color Image and Its MainColor

Image edge is the basic information of an image. The traditional methods of image edge detection work on gray images instead of color images. Converting the color image to the gray image can't use all information of color image efficiently. And the edge detection based on non-uniform color space did not work better. In this paper, an approach of detecting color image edges based on color difference in uniform color space CIE1976 L*a*b* is presented. It is superior to the old ones based on gray image and non-uniform color space for taking into account the intensity and direction difference.
