| Abstract: | Context affects inlercultura] communication, and context of culture has greater influence on IC. Based on the theory of context and some concrete examples from both the Chinese and Western cultures, this paper analyzes the context in 1C with some comparisons. In a word, a good understanding of context of culture helps IC, and avoids pragmatic failures. |
