| Abstract: | This paper presents a software method by which time-interrupt of arbitrary time intervals can be achieved on IBM-PC and its compatible personal computers. No hardware alteration is needed in this method. The time-interrupt achieved can be used in real-time microcomputer control systems and various sample frequencies can thus be conveniently obtained. |
