多媒介数据的表示与操作(英文)

基于对多媒介对象与传统格式化数据本质差别的分析,本文提出一个面向对象的多媒介数据模型。通过在经典的面向对象模式的基础上进一步引进“版本”作为一种新的抽象形式,可以使用一组统一的抽象来并存地表示同一对象的多种概念结构。由于抽象数据类型的使用,可获得媒介的独立性,从而可提供一组施于各种类型对象上的统一操作。

REPRESENTATIONS AND OPERATIONS OF MULTIMEDIA DATA

Based on the investigation into the essential differences between multimedia objects and tradi- tional formatted data,an object-oriented model for mutimedia objects is proposed in this paper. Through the introduction of version as a new form of abstraction in addition to those in the classical paradigm,we are able to convey various conceptual structures of the same object imul- taneously using a set of uniform abstractions.By means of Abstract Data types,the media inde- pendence is reached and it becomes possible to provide the uniform operations on diverse types of objects.
